Once the test is complete and youโ€™ve accessed the results, you need to safely disconnect the AVILOO Box from the vehicle.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Keep the AVILOO Box powered

    • Ensure that the AVILOO Box is still connected to the vehicle and remains powered until the LED goes permanently green. This is essential for a successful test.

  2. Turn off the vehicle

    • Once the test is complete, turn off the vehicle's ignition.

  3. Disconnect the AVILOO Box from the OBD-II port

    • Gently unplug the AVILOO Box from the OBD-II port. Make sure to handle the connector carefully to prevent any damage.

  4. Store the AVILOO Box

    • Once disconnected, you can store the AVILOO Box in a cool, dry place. If you have a carrying case, use it for added protection.


Pro Tips

  • ๐Ÿงณ Keep it powered: The AVILOO Box should always be online if possible!

    This means that when the AVILOO Box is not being used for a battery test, it should be connected to the mains power.

The AVILOO Boxes undertake monthly software updates that are triggered automatically. These take a few minutes.

  • When the AVILOO Box is reconnected to the mains, it will first check for an update.

  • As soon as it finds one, the AVILOO Box is immediately updated automatically.

  • During this time, no battery test can be carried out with the AVILOO Box.
